The Great Thanksgiving Escape

t is going to be another long Thanksgiving for Gavin since he'll be expected to watch the smaller relatives play while their parents make merry. Then his cousin Rhonda pops up and suggests that they '
break out of here and head for the swing set in the backyard
lthough that's a brilliant suggestion, it is easier said than done. But since Gavin and Rhonda are very determined, they overcome all the obstacles they find in their way and actually make it to the backyard. Alas, though, when they get there it is raining. Now what do they do? As Gavin says, sometimes you just have to make your own fun and that's exactly what this engaging duo does!
his is a humorous Thanksgiving book that most children can relate to if they must spend the festive holiday with other family members. This would be an excellent book to share with other young family members on turkey day and they'll thank you for providing a laugh and a few giggles to go with the gravy and cranberry sauce!
