ot all board book pages are easy for toddlers to turn but this one, with nice thick pages, is a snap. A series of questions like '
Who's that behind the bush?
' and '
Who's that in the treetops?
' challenges the child to guess what's on the opposite page.
ift the flap and the youngster will find the answer. What's more, the child will be encouraged to replicate the sounds associated with the picture so he/she can roar, munch, snort and snap his/her way through the book.
he text is rather simple so Mom or Dad may tire of repeating the same simple questions and replies, but they can always make up their own text to accompany the illustrations. Actually that can be more fun anyhow and the child might enjoy the impromptu story even better.
