One of the fears a child sometimes has when he or she is taken to preschool for the first time is that his/her parent won't come back to take him/her home. This book addresses that fear.

Daniel is OK with spending some time at school but when his father gets ready to leave him and head off to work, the small tiger is a little bit worried. 'I don't want you to go. I want you to stay and be with me,' Daniel says.

His father tries to set Daniel at ease by telling him that he'll have fun with his friends and that his teacher will take good care of him. 'I will come back and pick you up, because grown-ups come back,' Daniel's dad says.

Of course, the rest of the day goes well and Daniel's dad naturally does return at day's end.

If your child has some misgivings about attending school, this little, inexpensive book may well help set the youngster's mind at ease. It is certainly worth a try.
