EXO follows Jumper, Reflex and Impulse to continue the thrilling adventures of the teleporting Rice family - David, his wife Millie and their teen daughter Cent.

Davy began to teleport as a teenager in Jumper, fell in love with Millie, and was discovered by the NSA, who came after him. In Reflex, an adult Davy worked for the NSA until he was kidnapped by Hyacinth Pope and conditioned to do his captors' will.

Millie found out that she could jump too, and rescued him. They kept their daughter Cent close until she rebelled in Impulse. She experimented with her abilities beyond anything her parents ever attempted and was able to fight her own battles.

EXO continues to be mainly Cent's story as she jumps higher and higher off the planet, but still finds time to connect with, and help, her friends Jade and Tara, and to have serious relationship problems with her boyfriend Joe. Essentially, Space Girl Cent sets up her own space program.

Millie's mother Samantha has serious health problems and is in assisted living. When their enemies go after her, Davy and Millie have to move her, and arrange round the clock nursing care. And of course, their enemies are still active, and continue their attacks on Rice family members.

I love this series and Cent's exploits are even more enthralling than her dad's - EXO is great fun, with plenty of solid science for the technically minded.
