When he's on a quest for a bone, Digger Dog will stop at nothing until he excavates the prized morsel. In this humorous picture book Digger Dog follows his nose to the site of what he is convinced will be a mega discovery.

Up go the safety signs and pylons as Digger gets started. It doesn't take long for a hand shovel to give way to a small steam shovel. That soon gives way to an even bigger piece of digging equipment.

The task is almost too much for Digger Dog until he gets a very big digging machine. It is so big there's a fold out to show it to the reader. And, that fold out is followed up by another that illustrates exactly what this intrepid pooch is trying to excavate. When you see it, believe me, you'll be totally surprised.

This is a totally cool picture book that features different types of excavation equipment. Preschoolers and early grade readers will love watching Digger Dog do his thing, but what he's trying to dig up is quite a bone!
