– nice play on words – is an
mystery. Marcy Singer owns a shop selling all kinds of supplies for crafters in Tallulah Falls, on the coast of Oregon. She, along with the rest of the town, is looking forward to the exhibits at the Tallulah Falls Museum where antique tapestries and rugs will be on display.
he day after she views these ancient works of art, she discovers a dead body wrapped in a valuable Kilim rug in the alley behind her shop, the Seven-Year Stitch. A bumbling FBI agent is sure he has the killer at hand when he accuses Marcy of murdering the man rolled in the Kilim.
er boyfriend, Detective Ted Nash with the local police department, takes a dim view of the FBI agent and determines to prove his girlfriend's innocence. Of course, Marcy is just as determined to be able to declare herself innocent and splits her time between running her shop and detecting.
