here are all types of signs at the airport that show where the bathrooms are, where you can find food, and who can assist you if you need help. Being able to read these signs is important as you will see when Yoko gets lost while waiting for a flight that will take her to Japan.
oko gets separated from her mother when the little cat goes to the bathroom but can't locate her mother when she exits through the wrong door. '
Now I am in big trouble!
' says Yoko when she doesn't see Gate 54.
ortunately, Yoko follows the signs to the Airport Police and a kind police lady helps Yoko find her mother so they don't miss their flight.
n excellent story about knowing what to do if you get lost in a big airport terminal, this picture book is a must read for any family who plans on taking a trip with a young child. Read the book a few times and then discuss what the child should do if he or she gets accidentally separated from mom or dad.
n fact, this might be the perfect picture book to take along on the trip too. Rosemary Wells'
series has been a hit for quite some time but this is definitely one of the better titles. You'll love the illustrations and the subject matter is very useful.
