' a good deal because he manages to get into all sorts of scrapes.
ach time Hansie falls, gets sand in his eye, or bumps his head while playing, his Papa is there to give him a hug and console him with the words, '
he shoe is placed on the other foot one afternoon when Papa Bear comes home with a limp. He has stepped on a thorn. While Mama Bear removes the object from Papa's foot, Hansie says '
I know a good thing to do.
' And, with that he gives his father a big hug and whispers, '
There, there, you'll be all right now.
his charming story with its wonderful illustrations will delight small children and quickly become one of their favorite read aloud books. The empathy shown here is something we'll never tire of reading about.
