After singing the praises of cars and bugs, Peter Stein and Bob Staake are back to focus their attention on toys. Toys of all shapes and sizes squeak, zip and whirl their way through this picture book. 'Toys are silly. Toys are fun. Who loves toys? Everyone!'

With this opening the reader is off on a wild exploration of the wacky world of toys. A cast of cartoon characters with oversized, round and brightly colored heads demonstrate how to put this array of toys to good use.

'Round toy, square toy, dirt toy, air toy. Spring toy, string toy, what-a THING toy! Small toy, tall toy, bouncing-ball toy. Hat toy, shoe toy. Stretchy GOO toy!'

Stein's silly, playful, rhymed text coupled with Staake's equally uproarious art makes this picture book for children four years of age and older an enjoyable reading experience. Also, pay close attention to the final pages of this playful book. What is the best toy ever? You'll find the answer on the on the final page!
