'Ding-dong'! Pinch's doorbell rings incessantly. Pinch answers the door to find his Aunt Hasty's big red couch on his doorstep. Aunt Hasty has hastily decided to move into a small apartment that her couch won't fit into and needs her nephew to keep her couch until she can move into a larger abode.

But Pinch is unhappy with his aunt's couch. It is too big and won't fit into his home either. The couch also has 'daring dashes of red' that clash with the 'pleasing pinches of orange' in the curtains.

Unable to tolerate the ugly couch, Pinch calls his friend Dash. Together they try to move the couch to Dash's house. Will they be able to overcome the trials and tribulations of moving Aunt Hasty's awful oversized couch?

Young readers, ages five to eight, will enjoy the full-color illustrations, alliteration, and fun characters of this Junior Library Guild Selection.
