Don't think circle, think ball. Soccer balls and baseballs are balls, but so are pearls from an oyster and peas at dinner. You can make a ball out of snow or clay. The earth and other planets are balls. Tots will find balls everywhere after being introduced to the concept. Andrea King's illustrations are simple and cute, just right for a concept book.
