r. King likes new things and he buys more new things to replace them when they get old. He throws the old things into a nearby pond. The pond is big, so he has room for a whole lot of old things.
O
ne day Mr. King is fishing at the pond when he pulls up a horrible monster. Frightened, he doesn't recognize the things he threw away.
I
would like this story better if it were more of a cautionary tale for the environment, but Mr. King does finally find a way to put his old things to use that doesn't include polluting the pond.
