The Galahad Legacy is the sixth (following The Dark Zone and Cosmic Storm) and final episode in Dom Testa's YA SF adventure series. It began with The Comet's Curse and sent a crew of 251 teens journeying into the unknown aboard a starship, the survival of the human race at stake.

In The Dark Zone, Council Leader Triana took a pod through a wormhole, hoping to make contact with whoever had sent the space vultures that surrounded the ship. In Cosmic Storm, elections were held for a new leader, while waves of radiation (space lightning) threatened the ship. Then another wormhole opened and Triana's pod returned through it.

Now, in The Galahad Legacy, crew members react to Triana's return, many with relief but some with suspicion and at least one (bad boy Merit Simms) with hostility. As always, the story shifts through different points of view, held together by the sage - and funny - voice of AI Roc who runs the ship.

Triana has not returned alone; she brings an alien envoy with her. It looks like a jellyfish and they call it Torrec, a member of an advanced race, the Dollovit. Torrec warns them that their craft cannot survive cosmic radiation and offers them help - to open a wormhole either to their intended destination, 'colonizing a rugged, untamed world', or to a safe, controlled environment in the Dollovit star system.

What choice do they make? You'll have to read The Galahad Legacy to find out, but not all crew members take the same path - and Triana loses one of her best friends. If you enjoy SF adventure blended with teen angst, then don't miss this series.
