Because my father is King Glower the Seventy-ninth, Lord of the Castle, Master of the Brine Sea, and Sovereign of the Land of Sleyne, my two brothers, my sister and I live in Castle Glower. I'm Princess Celie and this is the story of our very special home which adds rooms (or takes them away) whenever it has a mind to.

You see, Castle Glower is really a living entity and, for some reason, the castle likes me the best of anyone. Although you'll learn a lot about my relationship with this very wonderful structure, my story also goes into how my parents and oldest brother were attacked and thought to be killed by highwaymen.

That left my sister Lilah and brother Rolf to deal with the consequences of this dastardly act. And let me tell you, they weren't very pleasant, although it was a very exciting time for all three of us.

When it was thought my father was dead, Rolf was supposed to ascend to the throne, but he was only fourteen years old. That resulted in a chain of events that centered on an attempt by a really nasty fellow, Prince Khelsh, to take over the country.

I think you'll really like the exciting story of how the three of us (Lilah, Rolf and me), plus the castle, struggle to keep this from happening. There are plenty of twists and turns, ups and downs, and hair-raising moments in this action adventure.

Even though I am the youngest (I'm eleven), since I get on so well with the castle, I play a very important role in the how we manage to save the throne and our country from this interloper from a neighboring land.

This is the beginning of a new series so you'll want to read this one to learn all about me, the castle and, of course, my family. I think you'll like this novel so much that you'll definitely wish to follow our further adventures.
