In the latest Pirates film adventure, the series continues as Captain Jack Sparrow launches his search for the Fountain of Youth. This incredible book showcases all the visual development that has gone into the creation of the film.

Concept art, digital renderings, costume sketches, prop schematics, and storyboards are all brought together here in a book that will please anyone who is interested in how movies are produced or those who can't get enough of the Pirates of the Caribbean features.

Divided into three sections, entitled The Chase is On, On the High Seas and Aqua de Vida, the full page art and illustrations and accompanying text will walk the reader through the film production.

'This book is designed to give you an idea of our collective shared vision of "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides", with conceptual illustrations, storyboards, sketches, and photography,' writes the film's producer, Jerry Bruckheimer, in the book's introduction. 'But to truly assess how these ideas made their way on to screen; you'll have to see the movie. Everyone worked to the utmost limits of their considerable talents to take you on a journey to another place and another time, with imagination as boundless as the seven seas. Enjoy the voyage!'

Whether you wait to read this book after you see the film or check it out ahead of time is rather a moot point either way this volume offers a very special look at the creative genius behind this popular movie. A true collector's edition, you'll want to add this to your Disney or film library if you treasure this type of insider's look at the industry.
