his rhyming, read-aloud picture book for children three years of age and older features two little monsters who love to have fun during the day. But when bedtime arrives they have a hard time settling down.
hen they climb into bed, they toss, turn and bounce instead of going to sleep. From their bedroom we hear, '
Growl, Gurgle. Burp, Grrrr. Snarl. Snarf. I'm not sleepy,
' But, eventually, they do nod off to Slumber Land.
dmittedly there's not much to the text, but it is the humorous illustrations of the little monsters, their friends and family, that make this book work so well. Your little monster will have fun following the zany antics of this rambunctious pair of loveable, not-so-scary monsters!
