ou'll see why I just love Fall as you read this picture book. When the leaves begin to change color, my mom and dad drive the family out to Comstock Farm where we all pick apples and find beautiful pumpkins in the fields.
hile at the farm I always check out the geese, chickens and Mr. Comstock's big, fat turkey. When we have filled our baskets with apples and selected a few nice pumpkins, we head for home.
hen my dad carves one of the pumpkins into a really cool jack-o-lantern and he puts a candle inside. Now it is time to get ready for Halloween, which means scary costumes and, of course, lots of treats!
f you are three or older, I think you'll love my book. Ask your parents to read it to you - as you look at the pictures, it will help get you into the mood for Fall and Halloween. First published in 1989, this book was just recently re-released.
