Toni Matthews eagerly awaits her wedding day with the absolute, without a doubt, man of her dreams. When she is told of his apparent suicide, she knows it must have been an accident. Scott would never have done that to himself or to her.

Deciding to look into her fiancé's death, Toni discovers there is more to this than she first assumed. Her love has been murdered! Now to find out who did it. And, why?

There is his brother, Brian. The two had not spoken in years after a big blowup. But he was in town for the wedding. She finds out that Brian is contesting her love's will. Then, there are his partners – a husband and wife team who it seems may have been cooking the books. But they were dear friends and had spent most of their free time together. What was real and what just an illusion? Maybe someone hired a hit man.

But, who?

Toni becomes more and more convinced she is right about murder as she traverses Nashville chasing clues. She is sure she is being followed. Is she correct or simply paranoid?

Deed to Death was first self-published as an ebook in 2010, becoming an Internet sensation. It is hard to believe this is a first novel. Tight plot. Good characters with questionable motivations. Plenty of action. At times, it seemed to slow down in places but picked up again quickly. Good book.
