Collaborating with Fred Van Lente and artist Queenie Chan, Dean Koontz features one of his most beloved characters, Odd Thomas, in this original prequel graphic novel. Odd and a cast of characters, including gun-toting Stormy and the feared Bodachs, are brought to visual life as they solve a mystery that puts an interesting twist on Halloween mischief.

Pico Mundo is preparing for its annual festivities but Odd Thomas has the eerie feeling that there is more on the prowl than just make-believe goblins and ghouls. Since he can see what others can't, the restless dead, Odd's misgivings must be taken seriously. But even with help from a frequent visitor, the specter of Elvis, Odd can't quite get a handle on the situation.

With Stormy's assistance, Odd will uncover the sinister truth about what is going on in a remote barn guarded by devilish masked men. What the two discover may well make the hair on the back of your neck stand up!

There are plenty of extras in this book, like notes from the author on The Great Bodach Struggle and script development, plus a special section from the artist's sketchbook. Both graphic novel aficionados and Koontz fans will want to add this book to their collection.
