Seventy-five years ago a madman dubbed the Torso Killer was credited with gruesomely killing at least a dozen of Cleveland's residents. The killer was never apprehended and suddenly the murders stopped. Now a badly decayed corpse showing the hallmarks of the earlier crimes has been found in an abandoned building.

It is assumed to be another victim of the serial killer and forensic scientist Theresa MacLean is called in to learn whatever she can from the remains. There's little she can do given the period of time that has passed, but then another body turns up.

Recently desiccated, this body points to a troubling fact. Either the Torso Killer has returned or someone knows enough about his methods to mimic the murderer.

As the new body count rises, Theresa frantically attempts to find the clues that will unmask the killer. She also gets the uncanny feeling she is being watched. And, in fact, she is! The killer has Theresa in his sights. The closer she gets to her quarry, the more she places her life in jeopardy.

The third thriller featuring Theresa MacLean, this action packed novel (developed during two different time periods, the 1930s and today) is guaranteed to send chills up your spine.
