Sometimes I feel down in the dumps. Do you know what I do when that happens?

I gather my friends together ... and I bring an enormous pot. Because when you are feeling blue, there is only one thing that helps: elephant soup!

Now I'm a mouse so you might think making a pot of elephant soup is a pretty tall order for a little guy like me. But, rest assured, with help from my friends we are up to the task.

You'll see how we collect all the special ingredients, including an elephant, fill the pot with water, scrub the elephant (you wouldn't want a dirty one!), and slip him into the pot.

We then start the fire and let him simmer for a while. The silly elephant thinks we're providing him with some hot bath water! Everything goes along nicely until we have to put the lid on the pot. Then disaster hits!

I'm not going to tell you how this story ends because it is kind of funny and I don't want to ruin it for you. But, don't worry, we don't eat the elephant. Far from it!

Toddlers age three and older will like my story and they'll love the cool pictures too. So, if you know someone who is feeling blue, you might want to cheer the person up by sharing my story!
