ou may find this a hard story to believe but, trust me, it happened. One night when I was staring at the moon from my bedroom window I heard someone tapping on the wall. Then, a man with a sledgehammer broke through the wall.
What are you doing?
' I cried out.
You're supposed to be asleep
', was his reply.
Well, I haven't got all night
', he said, '
oly flapjacks! The next thing I knew I heard a whistle and a big, silver train thundered through the room. When it was gone the stranger then said, '
We have to take down the railroad. Everybody got where they needed to go.
ow, is that weird or what? Over the next few weeks that happened again, but rather than a train it was a colossal jet, and then a gigantic ocean liner that came through my room.
inally I kind of figured out what was happening and when I did, I decided to do something I had always wanted to do. I'm not going to tell you what it was, though. You'll have to read my story to find out, but I think you'll be surprised.
f you are between three and seven years old and like construction stuff, trains, planes and boats, I think you'll really like this special bedtime story. It will help if you have a pretty good imagination too!
