Children four years of age and older will delight in this story about a dad who knows just about everything.

'My father knows the names of things. Each bird that sings, their nicknames, too,' explains the little boy telling this story. 'He knows the names of dogs and cheese and seven words that all mean blue.'

The rhyming text goes on to list all the things this exceptional father can identify. These items range from mosses which are the fuzziest to insects that are the buzziest. No matter whether it's fish, planets, human bones, flowers or cats, this boy's special dad points out everything they see and teaches all the names to him.

It is not unusual to discover that a youngster believes his father knows everything. This picture book with its adorable illustrations just confirms the fact that the old man is a virtual, fountain of wisdom!
