Mickey Mouse and his friends are headed to Star Lake for a picnic. When they arrive at their destination they realize something is very, very wrong.

'Where are all the fish?' asks Minnie.

'It is too quiet,' says Donald Duck. 'Where are the ducks?'

As Mickey and Goofy take a closer look at the silent lake they notice plastic bags, old cans and other garbage floating in the water. Realizing that all the trash makes it harder for the fish to breathe and other creatures to enjoy the water, Mickey and his friends decide to clean up the mess.

Using special reusable bags, everyone pitches in and collects all the garbage on the shore and in the lake. Once they are finished it is time for their picnic and, lo and behold, all the lake critters are happier as well!

Part of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse series this special board book for children three years of age and up also comes with a special reusable tote bag that features Mickey's picture and encourages children to also go green by not leaving trash behind when they go outside to play.
