'After she CHOMPED her breakfast, she CHEWED the mail. She even CRUNCHED and MUNCHED on the sofa.' My goodness, Doodle was nibbling on everything! Then Doodle saw 'something very good to bite' so, she gave Tumpty, the elephant, a nip on his bottom. Tumpty is so upset that the big blue elephant stomps on Doodle's tail. Now both creatures are in tears and poor Tilly has to sort out the mess. Fortunately, the little girl has her First Aid kit handy and generously applies bandages to all the hurting spots. After she makes both Doodle and Tumpty apologize for their actions, peace again descends on the household. A cute picture book with simple but expressive illustrations, this new Tilly and Friends adventure is perfect for children three years of age and older. If you have a child who, like Doodle, is going through a biting phase, this might be the ideal way of addressing the issue.
