nce an accomplished art thief with an international reputation, Tom Kirk has retired from
and now works on the other side of the law. But when he arrives at a crime scene, the brazen theft of a Da Vinci painting, Kirk finds the unmistakable hallmark of an old nemesis that pulls him back into the shadowy world he thought he had left behind him.
eanwhile, in Spain a master forger and an old friend of Kirk's is brutally murdered while in New York a prominent attorney is slain, which means FBI agent Jennifer Browne is drawn into the case. What follows for Kirk and Browne is an investigation that takes them and the reader into the murky world of high-end art forgery and the international global auction business.
lthough Browne may be outside her comfort zone, Kirk is not only very comfortable but he may also seize the opportunity to settle a few old scores, but, alas, that can be a two-way street as you'll see once into this riveting thriller.
