On the far side of town, in a big, dark house, lives a brave little witch. She's heard a lot about those scary humans and how they celebrate a day called Halloween.

Since she's not afraid of humans, unlike others of her kind, this little witch decides to see what this special day is all about. But when she mistakes Trick or Treat for Trick a tree, the little witch runs into all sorts of trouble.

Riding on her broom she says, 'No one can trick a tree like me!' But, unfortunately, in her encounter with a big tree the little witch is thrown from her broom. Now she's going to see humans up close and personal as a little girl rushes over to help her.

How brave will the little witch be now when a human actually reaches out and touches her? Good question! But you'll have to read this New York Times bestseller yourself to find out.
