On the back of all manga published in America, there is a rating. Some publishers, such as Tokyopop, also indicate why the manga received that rating. Domo: The Manga is rated A for All Ages, and really, all ages will enjoy the adventures of Domo.

However, it is the May Contain part of the rating that really sums up the Domo experience: Slapstick Humor. Domo contains six shorts filled with slapstick as the brown, rectangular, only-Domo-saying, fingerless monster gets carried away in all of his endeavors, much to the chagrin of his fellow forest folk.

Domo is the creation of Tsuneo Goda. In his first foray into Original English Language manga, Domo's character comes out truly through Clint Bickham's stories. While four different artists (rem, Sonia Leong, Lindsay Chibos, and Jared Hodges) illustrated Bickham's stories, they all stay true to the Domo ideal with bright colors, bold lines, and great facial expressions. Domo is an excellent pick-me-up kind of manga.
