Major Westfall is awakened before dawn by a call from a former War Brother, simply saying, 'I need help.' The Major and Black Dog, his faithful pet of eight years, are out the door ASAP.

An active duty Marine (home on leave) has been murdered, beheaded and left to burn in his home. His wife Carmen is missing, kidnapped by the perpetrators. Fortunately, his children were visiting relatives.

The Major wastes no time gathering reinforcements from his former war buddies. Working outside the law, the group tracks and hunts a terrorist cell working in the Olympic Peninsula. They are fast and ruthless in their pursuit. The terrorist targets are Washington State ferries.

In twenty-four hours, the battle is over. The Major and his crew have successfully defended the honor of a fallen brother.

Readers who understand weapons, military tactics and preparedness, will be enticed to outthink the Major as he goes about the job he has taken on. There is adventure, the thrills of battle and outsmarting the enemy. A bit of romance thrown in helps the story plot. The Major, his friends and his sweetheart Blon are an unstoppable force against terrorists.

The book is fiction. The truth is this could happen anywhere in the United States. The moral is to be ever watchful of those who would destroy freedom.
