Though they're still pretty small, Sal and his friend Frankie feel they've done it all - they've sampled every sport and board game, painted plenty of pictures, baked loads of cookies, and read every comic book ... so, what to do?

They decide to try 'Ten seconds of nothing.' They set up two chairs and pretend to be statues - till Frankie starts shooing imaginary pigeons. Then they try being redwoods - till Frankie is sure Sal's dog is raising his leg against his tree. Next they try being New York skyscrapers - till King Kong shows up!

Finally Sal experiments on Frankie and proves that 'There is no way to do nothing!' (which, of course, any parent of small children would have predicted in the first place). Have fun reading Tony Fucile's Let's Do Nothing! with kids - and then time how long they're able to stay perfectly still.
