If her kiss hadn't killed Dan McAndrews, Scarlet Wakefield’s life wouldn't be all about finding out why. She knows how it was done. Dan was severely allergic to peanuts and Scarlet ate chips spiked with peanut oil. Just a kiss from her lips was enough to cause a reaction that suffocated him.

Scarlet is forced to transfer from St. Tabby's to Wakefield Hall Collegiate which is run by her grandmother. With the help of a new American friend she sets to find out who used her to murder Dan and why.

Although entertaining on its own, be sure to read Scarlet's first book, Kiss Me, Kill Me, before enjoying this sequel. Though a lot of time is spent restating what happened in the first novel, you can't help but feel you're missing something if you haven't read it. This is a quick read with a few holes in the plot that can be ignored if you like the heroine and her sidekick, Taylor McGovern.
